For the design, the main focus was on finding the right typeface that will represent the sports theme and old school with a modern way that the film is shot. For the Petrichor name, we decided to go with Ayer Poster Blackletter Black Italic. It is a modern typeface with a classical, crafted twist. As a complementary font that is used also in credits we send for Gothia Serif which perfectly compliments the Ayer Poster Blackletter Black Italic. For the poster we decided to used the hero image and put it vertically to show the different perspectives the film is touching.
