The Evolution of Signs is a publication looking into a history of Czecho-Slovak city signs. I researched for did the logos of shops changed from the communist time throughout the present times. It was able to map a few major and also smaller shops and see how the typography changed. It was interesting to see how the typeface changed from being crafted and unique info creating a trend of sans serif uniform for all the shops or simply disappeared in the city smog.
