In collaboration with Lovers studio we worked on refreshing the brand identity of Plymouth College of Art. We had a chance to re-think the brand’s essence, personality, spirit, visual identity and tone of voice, to help it re-assert it’s unique position in the market.
This is all about the idea of a device that is like a compass/clock/speedometer, helping each student progress. The concept of the horizon opens to a multitude of references in every discipline. Our system of connections starts from the conceptual art of the 70s to ink the idea of the horizon to the abstraction of a meeting line which is unreachable. Its continued shifting becomes for the individual the aim of reaching a goal and the metaphor of endless growth.
